Is there a limit on the quantity of cannabis products that I can purchase for delivery?

Adults 21 years or older can purchase up to three ounces (85 grams) of cannabis flower and up to 24 grams of concentrated cannabis (oils, tincture, edibles, vapes, etc.) in a single day for delivery and instore purchases in New York.

Please note retail dispensaries may further restrict the amount of cannabis products a consumer may purchase based on current inventory.


What Should I bring when visiting New York City Cannabis Exchange’s store?

To enter the dispensary, you will need to bring a VALID ID. Please note that if you are 21 Years of Age and older but have an expired ID, you can still come inside; however, you will not be able to buy any products. The following forms of identification are considered valid:

  • A valid federal, state, or local government identification, including IDNYC, stating the customer’s age and featuring a photograph of the individual’s face.
  • A valid driver’s license or non-driver identification card issued by the Department of Motor Vehicles, the federal government, any United States territory, commonwealth or possession, the District of Columbia, a state government within the United States, or a provincial government of the dominion of Canada. 
  • A valid passport issued by the United States government or any other country. 
  • An identification card issued by the armed forces of the United States

What forms of payment are accepted at New York City Cannabis Exchange?

We accept cash and debit cards. We also have an ATM available on-site for $3.00 per transaction for your use. Please note that there is an additional debit card usage fee. As an alternative, we accept CanPay, a cashless ATM option. CanPay should be set up on your phone before arriving at the store and it is currently only available for in-store and pick-up orders. The fee to use Capay as a payment option is 1.85% per transaction. Visit their website to learn how to get set up.


What discounts do you offer to military, veterans, and senior citizens?

We appreciate and honor the service of our military personnel, veterans, and senior citizens. However, as per licensing regulations, we are currently unable to offer any discounts, giveaways, price reductions, or loyalty programs related to cannabis products. We are diligently exploring alternative non-cannabis related rewards or special offerings that can be extended to members of the military, veterans, and seniors. We are committed to finding meaningful ways to show our gratitude and provide value to these communities. Please stay tuned for updates on any non-cannabis related rewards or offerings we may have for our valued customers.


Can I return a cannabis product if I am not satisfied with it?

Unfortunately, we do not accept returns for any cannabis sales. Due to the nature of the products and regulatory guidelines, we cannot facilitate returns. However, if you encounter an issue with your product, we will make every effort to address the problem. We will reach out to the vendor on your behalf to determine the issue and find the best possible solution to remedy it. Customer satisfaction is important to us, and we strive to ensure that you have a positive experience with our products.

Pick Up/ Delivery

How do I place an order for delivery or pick up?

Delivery orders of licensed cannabis products can be made directly from us. 

Can I place an order for future delivery?

Yes, you can schedule an order for future delivery.

Where can orders be delivered?

Deliveries must be made to:

  • A physical address within the State of New York; and to
  • A customer (21+), who is located at all forms of residential properties; short and long- term residencies; or private businesses, anywhere in New York State.

Deliveries are not permitted anywhere else, including but not limited to public building, public spaces including parks; community centers, any school grounds, day-care centers; and houses of worship or to a motor vehicle.

Can my order be delivered to my car?

No. Deliveries may not be made to anyone inside of a motor vehicle.

Is identification (ID) verification required to place a delivery order?

Yes. When placing an order online for delivery, customers must attest that they are of legal age (21+) to consume cannabis at time of purchase. At time of delivery, an additional identification check must be carried out by the employee making the delivery to complete the order.

What do I need to order cannabis via delivery?

  • A computer, phone, or other smart device such as a tablet to place the order. 
  • A valid ID
  • An acceptable payment method (cash not permitted for delivery orders)
  • A physical residential or private business address located in New York State

Is cash accepted upon delivery?

No. All orders must be pre-paid for on our website prior to delivery.

How do I pay for my delivery order?

All orders must be pre-paid prior to delivery by using one of our easy payment options:

  • ACH payment: select the Dutchie PAY option at checkout, and you will receive a secure payment link via text from our payment processor Dutchie PAY. Please note payment links will only be sent during the hours we are open daily (11a-8p).
  • Cashless Payment: CanPay separate link will be sent to email or cell phone via text.
  • Alternative payment will option available in the future sent via link. (TBD)

Can I designate someone else to accept my delivery?

Yes. But if the individual placing the order will not be the individual accepting the order, the individual accepting the order must be 21+ years old and must show valid identification, as it is described above, when they accept the delivery.

Is a signature required upon delivery?

Yes. ID verification and a signature from the customer for each order is required.

Is there a delivery fee?

No, at New York City Cannabis Exchange we do not charge a delivery fee ever to our clients. We believe in making our cannabis products as accessible and cost effective as possible to all our clients, but we do require a minimum order amount.
